One of the tools that you can use to boast the level of your creativity is mind mapping. Mind mapping is a concept that introduced by Tony Buzan (he is also known as the father of ‘Mind Mapping’).

So, what is mind map?

According to Michael Michalko, the writer of Cracking Creativity, “A Mind Map is ‘the whole-brain alternative’ to linear thinking. It reaches out in all directions and catches thoughts from any angle.” Thus, it leaves nothing out when brainstorming for ideas.

Basically, a mind map is an overview of a subject with branches that branching out from the center or the core (subject), explaining or detailing the whole thing on a single view. It uses lots of color, drawings and phrases that no more than two words, to stimulate creativity and memorizing capability.

By using a mind map, all you need to do is just look at a single Read more

The Process of the Subconscious

Subconscious Process

Subconscious Process

Subconscious Process – As we allow negative or positive thoughts into our mind, they are stored in the brain. What we have most recently thought is in the conscious section (1).

As we continue to have thoughts, eventually the older thoughts in section 1 are pushed into the subconscious, specifically to the front of the warehouse or RAM section (A). To make room for these thoughts, the older thoughts already in RAM are then pushed into Cold Storage (B).

To access RAM thoughts, you need only have the desire to do so, and the thoughts are automatically again in the conscious section of your brain (1) for use. Access is almost immediately. The slight delay is negligible.

To access Cold Storage (B) thoughts, however, is more difficult. It takes a key to open the door. Deja Vu is an example of a key. Reminiscing with an old friend will bring up memories (thoughts) you haven’t remembered for ages. How many times have you thought or said, “It’s on the tip of my tongue,” yet you never quite bring a thought to the forefront? This is an example of a key to the Cold Storage area of your brain — sometimes, the key is strong enough to open the door; sometimes, it isn’t.

As negative energy builds, your thoughts, speech and actions become more negative more often in direct proportion with the negative energy inside you, as well as the negative energy surrounding you. As your negative thoughts grow, they push the positive thoughts (you used to have) into the RAM portion of the warehouse. Eventually, they’re at the back of Cold Storage.

What does this do to your thoughts and internal energy?

It attracts more of the same. Eventually, any positive thoughts are long forgotten, and you seldom find a key to unlock their door. This is the effect of negative thinking, which is far reaching into your future — unless you stop it right here, right now.

To stop this snowball effect, you must change what’s inside you to positive. As you can see from the graphic, the only way to change what’s already there (negative) is to replace it with positive thoughts. You must avoid all thoughts that weaken you (negative).

To do this:

  1. You must become aware of your thoughts. The more you pay attention to your thoughts, the more you’ll become aware of them. Eventually, you’ll be able to stop such thoughts in your mind, before they become speech or actions.
  2. Each time you catch yourself thinking something negative, stop and mentally distance yourself from the thought. Why are you thinking this way?
  3. Replace, it with a positive thoughts.

Subconscious Mind: How It Works?

How Your Subconscious Works

Recently, I was having a discussion with my fellow friends through a private forum on the internet, and I found out that some of them do not really understand the concept of subconscious fully.

The subconscious mind is a second mind that hidden within you. Hidden here does not mean that you can’t find your mind; it just literally means that, you almost never have an immediate access to it, which unlike the conscious mind (the mind that you are reading this now). One thing that must be made clear here is your mind is not your brain. The brain is a tool that you use to think and function, while the mind is the software for that tool. So that’s also means that you can’t find both minds in any parts of your body, because they are not in the physical domain.

The subconscious mind interprets ideas or thought that hold within your conscious mind. Whatever that you think, visualize or imagine will impress upon your subconscious, which then it will act on it. The function of the subconscious mind is to attract or create the circumstances and situations that match within you. In order words, your experience is just an output of your mind, the world within you. Images from the mind equals to your physical experience. That’s why you need to always think positively and constructively.

Your conscious and subconscious mind is actually a very great team; they work hand-in-hand in creating your reality. Let’s us use an analogy. The subconscious is like the fertile soil where every seed that you plant on it, it will accept without questions. The more that you nurture it, the greater it becomes. Thoughts are the seed that you plant on the soil of your subconscious, what you think consistently forms your belief system and manifests as your reality. You reap what you sow and that’s the law.

You conscious mind on the other hand is like the gardener. It is your responsibility to choose whatever that you want to have in your inner garden; crops or weeds. So choose wisely because what you plant becomes your life and reality. Allow only positive and good seeds to enter the inner garden of your subconscious.

Charles Haanel, the author of ‘The Master Key System’ called the conscious mind as the ‘guard at the door’. If the guard dozes off, what do you think would happen? Negativities creep in! Read more

The Shocking Truth About Action!

March 21, 2010 | Leave a Comment

One of the famous quotes that Einstein has ever spoken is “Nothing happens until something move.”

The meaning that this quote trying to bring is quite simple, but yet it holds a deeper meaning that most of us could have missed. In the modern society that we are living now, it is quite noticeable that action is the key to everything. Indeed, it is religiously practiced everywhere because without action, there will certainly be no results.

Few years ago, Dr. Robert Anthony has come out with a report (The Shocking Truth About Action - right click and save target as…) about action and in which he says,

“Most people believe that the doing, or action part, is what makes things happen. However, this belief causes you to create in reverse.”

I was shocked reading this statement because action is the key to everything and what he said defies logic; how could action lead to creation in reverse. That’s just unacceptable and science wouldn’t agree on that.

Besides, Tony Robbins, my favorite coach always says, “Take massive action!” He couldn’t be wrong.

I believe that Tony Robbins is right, but not all people get it right.

The Process of Creation

Every creation process starts from the mind. You have to think about something before you move on to act on it. Below is the sequence of the creation process that I believe that you have seen it, particular in the movie, “The Secret”.

Thoughts > Feelings > Action >Results

Most people believe that action is the key that leads to creation but that’s just partially correct. Well, action indeed produces a result, but that doesn’t mean it will produce the result that you always want. The problem with this is we are so preoccupied with doing. It supposed to be nothing wrong with that but…. Read more

Steps To Reprogram Your Subconscious

An example of a goal or desire you may have is to gain freedom by obtaining a lot of money. You focus on just what you need to do to gain all this money, not how you will find a lack of money from trying to get rich. The best way to show this is by an example.

If you were to say to the universe, “I want a lot of money but I don’t want to go broke doing it,” you are telling the universe you don’t want to go broke. You are emphasizing the word broke here and that will go out to the universe and the universe will see you are vibrating the word broke. Therefore, you will become broke and stay broke. This is why you must be careful how you say it.

Instead, say something like, “I want $100,000 within six months.” This way you aren’t talking about being broke. You are only saying you want $100,000 in six months. The chance of your getting that money will increase proportionally to what you vibrate to.

When you take it upon yourself to attract what you want in life, you must first meditate and visualize whatever it is you want as being there in front of you. Picture it there. Visualize yourself holding it. Put emotion into it. Act as if you already own it. By doing this, all these sensations will go into your subconscious mind and will process your request.

The next step will be conclusive. Your subconscious will contact the universe through vibration and when it connects to that same vibrating source, there will be a match. At that time your subconscious mind will be in alignment with the universe and the universe will respond in kind.

When applying the power of the subconscious mind, you must consider this point. It doesn’t matter what your emotional state may be. You must learn to accept whatever thoughts or emotions you may be thinking or experiencing.

After you have initially put in your request to the universe, don’t worry about what your present situation is. You are where you are supposed to be. Even if you should have fearful or anxious thoughts come to you, do not resist them. Instead, acknowledge them in your conscious mind. Accept them and you will find they will melt away. It is only through resistance that they will stay and cause you more problems. Read more

Feed Your Subconscious Wisely

Changing your programming will not be easy at first because you may still resort back to your old beliefs. But those old beliefs will be replaced with new beliefs if you pick the right beliefs and meditate so as to have those beliefs go into your subconscious mind immediately.

When you first replace your old beliefs with new beliefs, you will have to monitor your thoughts and what you read on a daily basis so you don’t accidentally remove what you just replaced. You don’t want to reverse the procedure.

After a while, you will get into the practice of reading and absorbing only what you need to build yourself up and to work in harmony with your new beliefs. You will only take in what you need to support your new beliefs; this way you won’t be working against your new purpose.

Also remember, you must make sure all the thoughts you take in are vibrating to your inner core beliefs. If these new beliefs are in harmony and vibrate to the same frequency as the thoughts you are inputting into your conscious mind, along with the right emotions, and these thoughts go out to the universe, which is also vibrating to the same frequency, you will obtain exactly what it is you thought or wished for.

There is a word of caution here. The subconscious mind Read more

Controlling Your Subconscious Mind (Part 1)

This is a series of articles that I have prepared in regarding of controllng your subconscious mind.

Change Your Subconscious Programming

If you want to change your life and experience the fullness of life, you must FIRST change your subconscious programming. To change your programming you must control your subconscious mind so you can alter your old limiting beliefs. To do this you have to take certain steps and/or follow certain procedures that will guarantee your success if done correctly.

As you have learnt so far, everything vibrates and that’s include your thoughts. Thoughts are first established in the conscious and analyzed there. Then the thought is passed to the subconscious mind for processing, and to establish and store as a belief. Since this is the case, you have the option as to what thoughts go into your conscious and pass through your subconscious.

You have the ability to take your old, limiting beliefs, and replace them with new ones. It simply takes your effort to control what you think or what thoughts you take into your conscious mind. The way to do this would be to take in or absorb new data, data that is conducive to what you need it to be. The data you take in and enter into your conscious mind has to be a new belief that will work in harmony with the universe and vibrate accordingly.

Where can you get this data to replace?

It can come from any source you choose. But that source must work in harmony with what you are trying to accomplish. If you read something that has encouraging information or up-building data that can help you achieve greatness in your life, obviously this is the data you want to read.

Whatever you read, it must not be what you formerly read, or else you are defeating the purpose of reprogramming. The data has to be a new source that is in harmony with what you wish to accomplish in your life. An example would be a book on The Law of Attraction, or a book on meditation, or perhaps a book on how to get what you want in life. It has to be something that is up-building and will help you to progress forward to the point where you get what you set out for. Read more
