Reprogram Your Subconscious Mind

Not too long ago, a good friend of mine told me about this; his huge Rottweiler is afraid of cats. His story goes that when the dog was a young pup, it tried the usual dog-hates-cats’ snarling and snapping technique on an older cat. Unfazed, the cat coolly let the pup have his merry way.
The cat probably got irritated after a while and without warning, a feline claw lashed the dog’s sensitive nose. The poor dog probably felt that it was the worst pain he’ll ever feel that he associated cats with it. From then on, he gave cats a wide berth. Even when he grew the size of a small horse and could probably swallow a whole cat without effort, they still lorded over him. This huge beast, which can reduce grown men to quaking, is afraid of little cute cats.
We can laugh about the absurdity of this pair but come to think of it, don’t we all have our “little cute cats”? Don’t we all have those little fears that shaped us into what we are now? Wasn’t there a particularly painful experience that taught us to react to things in a particular way?
As little kids, we were constantly barraged with lessons on what to do and what not to do. It could be as instructional as ‘don’t play with matches’, ‘don’t talk to strangers’, ‘drink more water, ‘study hard’ and so on. These simple messages got ingrained into our system, making them become autopilot (the unconscious beliefs).
That’s great but what if you were constantly told ‘you’re not good enough’, ‘your grades are lower than so-and-so’, ‘you’re not pretty’, ‘you’re fat’, ‘money is hard earned’ etc.?
Well, unfortunately, these negative outlooks got into our psyche too. Like a dormant computer virus, it got embedded into our subconscious programming. Let’s say you were always being told that you’re ugly; you grew up always thinking about that, and each time you try to improve your looks, this ‘virus’ creeps up and tells you ‘don’t bother, you’re ugly and nothing works’. Quantum Mind Power Secrets
March 17, 2010 | 2 Comments
In “Mind Power through Quantum Physics” and “Quantum Mind Power: Shaping Your Reality“, you have been exposed to the workings of your subconscious mind power through the studies of quantum physics. Now let’s us look deeper in what this science has to offer in realizing the truth of the universe and human potential.
“Every form and process you seen in the visible expression of a thought in the original substance. As it thinks of a form, it takes that form; as it thinks of a motion, it makes that motion”
- Wallace D.Wattles (author of “The Science of Getting Rich“)
Mr. Wallace knows this very well but I won’t think that people at that time could understand this easily. ‘Spiritual’ and ‘New Age’ stuffs are quite hard to grasp; it takes a lot of contemplation and a high awareness to understand them.
Yet, I wouldn’t also say that seeing things through the lenses of science will make us wiser, but at least that could convince us on what ancient teachings has to offer are not purely myth. Indeed, there are a lot more that science has to catch up with spiritual, particular the eastern myths.
Quantum Physics and the Double Slit Experiment
From what we have seen from the video above, it is learned that the basic premise of all matter is composed of particles, and the studies of quantum physics are based on the principle that matter can behave as particles and waves.
The above double Slit experiment proves that particles of matter can behave as particles or as waves, but not both at the same time.
The most interesting finding about this experiment is at the end of the video. Dr Quantum, the physicist in the double slit experiment tells that particles changes their behavior when being observed. When being observed, particles will behave differently as opposed when they aren’t. The simple act of observation determines what they already are.
“When observed, the electron decided to act differently. It was as if it was aware that it was being watched.”

Hill’s Wisdom: The Subconscious Mind

The undiscovered power of your mind lays in the subconscious mind. It influences your thinking, health, emotional well-being and direction in your life. Take a moment to get familiarized with the powerful concept of your subconscious mind.
Everything that matters are the manifestation of your subconscious mind. If you can influence your subconscious, you can influence your life.

Taken from the Mr Hill’s bestseller, Think and Grow Rich,
THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND – THE CONNECTING LINK
THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND consists of a field of consciousness, in which every impulse of thought that reaches the objective mind through any of the five senses, is classified and recorded, and from which thoughts may be recalled or withdrawn as letters may be taken from a filing cabinet.
It receives and files, sense impressions or thoughts, regardless of their nature. You may VOLUNTARILY plant in your subconscious mind any plan, thought, or purpose which you desire to translate into its physical or monetary equivalent. The subconscious acts first on the dominating desires which have been mixed with emotional feeling, such as faith.
THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND WORKS DAY AND NIGHT
Through a method of procedure, unknown to man, the subconscious mind draws upon the forces of Infinite Intelligence for the power with which it voluntarily transmutes one’s desires into their physical equivalent, making use, always of the most practical media by which this end may be accomplished.
You cannot entirely control your subconscious mind but you can voluntarily hand over to it any plan, desire or purpose which you wish transformed into concrete form.
There is plenty of evidence to support the belief that the subconscious mind is the connecting link between the finite mind of man and Infinite Intelligence. It is the intermediary through which one may draw upon the forces of Infinite Intelligence at will. It, alone, contains the secret process by which mental impulses are modified and changed into their spiritual equivalent. It also alone is the medium through which prayer may be transmitted to the source capable of answering prayer.
The possibilities of creative effort connected with the subconscious mind are stupendous and imponderable. They inspire one with awe.
I never approach the discussion of the subconscious mind without a feeling of littleness and inferiority due, perhaps, to the fact that man’s entire stock of knowledge on this subject is so pitifully limited. The very fact that the subconscious mind is the medium of communication between the thinking mind of man and Infinite Intelligence is, of itself, a thought which almost paralyzes one’s reason.
After you have accepted, as a reality, the existence of the subconscious mind, and understand its possibilities as a medium for transmuting your DESIRES into their physical or monetary equivalent, you will comprehend the full significance and importance of DESIRE. You will also understand why you have been repeatedly admonished to MAKE YOUR DESIRES CLEAR, AND TO REDUCE THEM TO WRITING.
You will also understand the necessity of PERSISTENCE in carrying out your instructions.
The thirteen principles in Think and Grow Rich are the stimuli with which you acquire the ability to reach and to influence your subconscious mind. Do not become discouraged if you cannot do this upon the first attempt. Remember that the subconscious mind may be voluntarily directed only through habit, under the directions given in the principles of FAITH. You have not yet had time to master faith. Be patient. Be persistent.
A good many statements in the chapters on faith and auto-suggestion will be repeated here, for the benefit of YOUR subconscious mind. Remember, your subconscious mind functions voluntarily, whether you make any effort to influence it or not. This, naturally, suggests to you that thoughts of fear and poverty, and all negative thoughts serve as stimuli to your subconscious mind, unless, you master these impulses and give it more desirable food upon which it may feed.
Mind Power Revisited

Have you seen the movie “Field of Dreams” starring Kevin Costner? There is one famous line in the movie, which I think you will still remember, “If you build it, he will come” (voted as the 39th movie quote by the American Film institute). This line is quite meaningful and do you realize that you too own the ‘field of dreams’, and which I’m referring to your subconscious mind. “If you think it, it will come” – whatever that you can THINK!
Just like you, everything that comes out from your mind is pretty much alive. Biologists have discovered that when we have a thought, the body will literally transform it into a molecule known as ‘neuropeptide’. So when you feel an emotion or think a thought, the ‘neuropeptide’ molecule that you launch is the seed that you, consciously or unconsciously plant in the ‘field of dream’. That is the starting point of every creation and you do it with your mind.
In Mind Power through Quantum Physics, we have learnt that at the subatomic levels, matter ceases to be ’solid’ and all there is only pure energy. Quantum physics has proved beyond a doubt that this energy can be manipulated by the mind and in fact, as strange as it seems, this energy cannot exist without the mind of an observer. They co-exist with each another at the same time and place; when there’s no mind, there’s no world.
So if matter and energy existed only when being observed, then it is quite obvious that it is the mind that is responsible for the matter’s existence and not the other way round. Therefore, matter is actually the creation of each of our mind and this is the power of subconscious mind at its essence. Your reality is shaped as you observe along it! It is your attention and intention that create the world that you are in. It’s never an outside thing.
More interesting is ancient religions and particular the eastern mystics had already discovered this far beyond science, and which even now science has just scratched the surface of the whole truth. Who says science is more advanced than ancient teachings?
Basically eastern mystics and science are referring to the same thing; they only interpreted it in different languages.
All religions, sciences and arts are the branches of the same tree.
-Albert Einstein
Now could you understand why the Buddha says, “Form is emptiness and emptiness is form”?
So now, let’s go back to our original question. If you could change your life just by changing the way you think, would you?
If your answer is yes then you can only do it if by harnessing the power of your subconscious mind. Use your subconscious mind to YOUR advantage, instead of letting it to have ‘control’ over you.
The Attraction Power of Your Subconscious

Attraction Power of The Subconscious
The most powerful part of the human being is the mind and to be more specific, the subconscious. The magnetic forces that the subconscious possesses, attracts certain event, circumstances and people into our lives and/or repels others. Take a look of the people around you; there are people who are successful while there are also people who are not. You could also notice that certain people accomplishes thing easily while other not.
What makes the differences?
That’s because the mind is in play. Your mind or consciousness is made up of the thoughts that you think, and to be more accurate, thoughts that you always entertain. Every thought is an energy that released by your mind and the more you think about it, the stronger the magnetic currents that it possess. If you think positively about certain event or action, they will realize as according what you have thought and if you harbor negative thoughts, the same will happen.
This is the power of the mind and it is governed by the undisputed law that governs the whole universe, ‘The Attraction’. You attract into your life what you think about frequently. However, it does not mean that every thought that runs in your mind will materialize. Most of the thoughts are weak and always a one- time runs. Weak thoughts like a weak magnet hardly have any attractive power.
One of the fact about human mind is they tend to run in the negative mode and this is caused by two major factors. First, the thinking of the mass tends to fall into negative. Just look at the people around you; do you notice how they often think and expect when a bad news comes? I bet that they tend to expect the worst. Secondly, the way that we are brought up, the conditioning and programming that we endured from the moment we are born up until now. Mind you, most are taught to think negatively and expect the worst (influenced by the first factor).
The Magnetic Power of Your Subconscious Mind
I believe that you have seen how a magnet works. A big and strong magnet draws bigger objects compares to a small and weak one. The polarity of magnets make one side of it draws while the other side repels.

It’s Your Choice

Have you ever wondered that everything that you ever want in your life could be boiled down to choice?
Life is a choice. You can have it the positive way or you can make it a negative one.
So if you really want to do something or be someone — how do you do it?
How do you make sure that your choice is correct?
The key to get what you want in life is to get your mind into it. You have to condition your thoughts into what you want to happen. Visualization is a powerful technique and mind you successful person like Tony Robbins, Deepak Chopra, Dr Robert Anthony, Dr Wayne Dyer, Jack Canfields, Bob Proctor and many more practice visualization in their lives. It literally attracts things that they wanted into their lives.
Visualization is not a fuzzy daydream that you have when you got nothing to do; not just the kind of fuzzy daydream. Instead, it is a full pledge, honest to goodness, day by day kind of visualizing that magnetizes your thoughts with power that attract the kind of live that you want. For example, say you want to be a successful manager and you can start visualizing yourself dressing up in power suits, going to a corner of your splendid office with a view. You can even enhance it by seeing yourself getting pats on the back from your superior or perhaps CEO and speaking at conferences where people respect your skills and authority.
Besides, it also really helps if you can find a role model to imitate. By doing so, you can have a real example that you follow. Besides, getting a real person in front of you definitely will intensify your belief that your goals are indeed achievable. It also helps you to focus on your goal.
Remember, your mind is your most powerful tool; it is a quantum machine that projects your reality through Read more
Seven Traits of the Subconscious
March 8, 2010 | 5 Comments
Here I would list out seven traits of the subconscious so that you can have a better understanding of what and how the subconscious works. Besides knowing this can make you utilize the amazing power of the subconscious. You might have already known some of them as they were once mentioned in lesson 101.
- It works day and night. Part of the functions of the subconscious is to maintain life’s vitality and hence, it could never retire or else you will retire forever. It keeps the heart pumping, monitoring blood circulating, performing body healing, digestion mechanism, and lots more. The subconscious even becomes more powerful when you are asleep. That’s why it is not advisable to let the TV on when you are asleep. Imagine what will you get when the TV is showing violence.
- Problem Solving. Subconscious might not possess the ability to think and reason but inevitably, it solves much problem than the conscious mind. This is due to its ability to connect with the super conscious mind to search for solution. Believe me, there is at least a solution for every problem and you might not know where to look for but your subconscious mind does. Napoleon Hill called it as the ‘connecting link’ between the finite mind of man and Infinite Intelligence (this term was made popular by Mr. Hill).
- It functions voluntarily. It doesn’t matter whether you make any effort to influence the subconscious or not because it is always open for suggestion. Its receptive mode is always ON and the only thing that makes the difference is either you do the influencing or let’s other people or thing to do it. By default, the psychology or mindset of the masses is always toward the negative and this suggests to you that the thoughts of fear and poverty serve as the stimuli to your subconscious. The only way to shield yourself from this negativity is to constantly feed yourself with positive thoughts and energy. Read more
